Roger Tamraz announced to medias that he reached an agreement with the Board of Directors of Petrel Resources PLC to acquire directly and indirectly (through other individuals who will hold shares in his favor and will act with him in concert) 29.99% of this Irish public company listed on the AIM of the London Stock Exchange (LSE:PET). This acquisition by the American tycoon and billionaire was funded by AS PNB Banka as it is to be contributed to the bank and is done to its (the bank’s) benefit. It has even been agreed that the lent amount will be returned to the bank with the proceeds from Winergy (the bank’s largest asset) sale.
